When we plan our trip to a casino, all we think about is how many slot machines they have, which table games they offer, and how much money we’re willing to spend wagering. What often escapes our planning is what we’re going to do when we’re not gambling. As you spend the whole day and weeks there (if you’re on a gambling trip, as most people are), you have to know where you’re going to eat, don’t you? Regardless of if you’re just looking for a quick bite or you’re hungry for some fine dining, most casino resorts have got you covered. Whether it’s a sports bar or a luxurious restaurant, we’ll now go over some of the best dining places where you can eat your favorite dishes while on a gambling trip in the United States.
We won’t focus on how large their gaming floor is and what the jackpots are. In this article, food will be the topic. Here’s our list of the ten best casino dining options:
- Red Rock
- Casino del Sol
- South Point
Let’s check them out!
When it comes to casino dining, the Hollywood Casino offers one of the best services around. Located in Grantville, Pennsylvania, there are several food amenities you can find. For starters, there’s an all-you-can-eat Epic Buffet. In it, you’ll be able to choose one of the delicious meals that come from different cuisines — Asian, Italian, American! There’s a variety of options on the menu — from pizzas and salads to crab and seafood. Moving on, they also have five additional bars and restaurants which remain open for you to grab a late-night snack. Their prime restaurant comes in the shape of Final Cut Steakhouse. On the menu, you’ll find a variety of steaks, pork chops, and daily specials. To sit at a table, you need to be at least 21 years old.
Red Rock represents one of the best Las Vegas options when it comes to casino dining. Their Feast Buffer received an award for the best buffet in Sin City! Ribs, shrimps, crabs, steaks — you name it, they’ll have it! They have over 15 other quick-eat amenities, including Lucille’s and Villa Pizza. Their fine casino dining options include Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar and T-Bones, where it’s pricier to get a table, but you get premium service.
Chicago’s gambling house has several options which will cover all your breakfast, lunch, and dinner needs. For instance, there’s Flip, which, on the face of it, seems like a regular burger joint. But once you take a peek at their menu, you’ll find unique breakfast sandwiches, salads, and so on. There are six other amenities, including a nine-station buffet.
It would be weird for the largest casino in the world not to be on this list, right? Depending on what your needs and wants are (i.e., how much you’re willing to pay), you can find a table in one of their 11 amenities. From a luxurious Italian restaurant where you can order delicious European meals to quick-eats to nibble on a breakfast sandwich, the WinStar has you covered. Many of their restaurants offer special holiday menus, so there’s always something new for you to check out.
Casino del Sol
Found yourself in Tucson not knowing where to eat? Visit Casino del Sol, where, apart from the games, obviously, you can go and visit one of their 13 eating amenities. Their award-winning PY Steakhouse will remain in your memories for quite some time. Their wine list has over a thousand entries (you read that right), and you can have an eight-course monster of a meal which will, rest assured, please everyone’s needs!
There are 11 eating amenities in this California resort. Their star restaurant is Choices, which have over 200 dishes originating from all parts of the world. Players can get a discount once a day, and there are not too many places in the world that can match Choices in their offer. Aside from Choices, there are noodle and sushi bars, as well as The Oak Room — a steakhouse.
There are eight bars and restaurants in this Washington resort which belongs to the Tulalip tribe. The two most well-known ones are Blackfish and Blazing Paddles, which offer a variety of seafood and Italian dishes, respectively. During the months of September and October, they have special beer offers, as they try and bring the German Oktoberfest to their Indian reservation. They also have a chophouse and an Asian food bar “Journeys East.”
In Bensalem, Pennsylvania, you’ll find the Parx resort which, alongside other amenities and a 150,000-sq-ft gaming floor, also has eight food outlets. By far the most alluring is Parxgrill, their signature steakhouse, where you can eat seasonal specialties, steaks, seafood, and relax in their cocktail house. Apart from that, they have a pub “Beer Garden,” a noodle house, and an inevitable Italian restaurant.
Wind Creek Bethlehem
Formerly known as Sands Casino, Wind Creek is a massive Pennsylvania resort with exactly ten dining amenities. Emeril Lagasse, a celebrity chef, has two restaurants within the resort — the Chop House and the Fish House. Emeril is famous for his Portuguese, Cajun, and Creole cooking style, and you’ll receive exactly what you’d expect — a premium dish with premium execution. They also have Carlo’s bakery — a franchise that became famous thanks to a TLC series.
Finally, we come to South Point. Located on the South Las Vegas Boulevard, the resort offers a dozen pubs and restaurants on the premises. Their most famous restaurant is Michael’s Gourmet Room, which has been around for 30 years. They have received multiple awards over the years and have brought in guests to the resort, who came primarily because of the food. Next to Michael’s, there’s an Italian restaurant, Don Vito’s, as well as other dining options, which include Mexican and Asian food.
